Ice Thickness

Has anybody made it out on to any ice yet? Any thickness reports?  I saw some people out on Island Lake east of Jamestown last week, and I've seen quite a few pictures being tossed around Facebook.  I'm excited for early ice, I just hope this little warm spell coming through doesn't mess it up too much.

Up to a foot of ice in northern ND some places. Mostly open water in southern ND but there is a few lakes next to the ND/SD border with 3-4 inches. Be careful

Wow, nearly a foot in some places already? That's nuts...I wish it was nearing that around Jamestown.

Any news from Devils Lake? Are any of the bays fishable for walking?

Running portable flip house and Vexilar fl-12.

Thanks,
Schleicher

I've heard that some of the lakes further north are fishable but a little iffy in places, haven't heard whether any of the bays on Devils are still fishable, I know they were for a while but I'd guess that with the warmer windy weather it has turned to crap again. Be safe out there guys.
