ice house generator.

I have a 8x16 icecastle . I am looking at buying a 2000w generator. I believe it will be big enough for winter. But is 2000w gonna be fine running the air conditioner in 90 plus degree all day? Thanks for the input.

a 2000 will work great in the winter but not so much with a ac.. i took a chance on one of these last fall and am very happy with it.it gets left in the back of the pickup and  at 15 below, itll start on the third or fourth pull. from what i understand it has a yamaha engine etc. just a different name and color and shape

also you could use 2 seperate two thousand watt gens in parrellel. i think hondas run about 1800 watts, so youd have 3600 watts and roughly 30 amps. a guy could leave one at home in the winter. your ac will prob draw about 15 amps.. that is about maxed out for a 2000 watt because it cant actually produce 2000 watts for a sustained period, more like 1800. again, im really happy with the wen, i went through about 6 tanks of gas on it, worked great. they make 2000 watt also.... for that price if it only lasts ten years, you can buy a new one with out crying so hard about it
