Here's the deal. People often use hitler as an example for evil. It happens on this site every once in awhile, and it happens in real life, facebook, emails, etc... Now, yes, Hitler was evil. Everyone agrees with this. But so often, people like to choose and pick what parts of Hilter's philosophy of madness suits them best and attempt to forget the rest. The man was first and foremost insane and not consistent.. In his book he claimed to be christian/catholic/god believer/creationist. A mish mash of all of that. There is no difinitive answer to his religion. Social darwinism, biology, the occult.

A real freedom loving man knows that freedom comes with the cost of allowing some things that he may not like. Why....so you don't infringe on others as you would not have them infringe on you.

"Politics and religion...it brings out the best in people."

This topic does not have to have anything to do with either.  An athiest could be as likely to be against aborting babies as someone who believes in God.   The topic also has implication far beyond the political influence.

It's simple common sense combined with medical science, and those in favor of such a procedure do their best to ignore both.

I couldn't agree more!  I don't  care what religion you follow or none at all, same goes for political persuasion.  It is a subject of human decency to protect the most vulnerable. Why show compassion towards anyone in need if you won't show compassion to those who have no voice?

Maybe this has been asked and solved on this thread, but Im not going to read 23 pages of posts, most of which are personal attacks. Anyways, how is it a person can be charged with murder or man slaughter of an unborn child (such as a DUI driver injuring an expectant mother and she loses her unborn child), but in the eyes of the law abortion is not crime? Just asking................
