Before work, pre-fishing!

Here's my fishing partner for the Cat's Incredible tournament this weekend. He's the smartest person I know, and he was basing all the stats on 12 lbs for our 2 biggest fish each day, so as you could imagine he was pretty thrilled to get this one.

Great fish....looked like a great morning to be on the water!

It was chilly but nice! We got a good solid hour of fishing in.

2 days from now, if we had took that picture, you'd see 3 or 4 boats in the background I'm sure.

Wow thats awesome I really need to start trying that on the Missouri and Yellowstone, now just need a day off work. Great fish.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

Yes you do. Once you get into it, it's addicting.

Have gotten a few last year that went 10#+ from shore, excited to try it outta my boat though. After the 10 min fight and a couple straightened out hooks when I got the color back in my face I went right to scenic sports, lesson learned. Cant wait to try it again.

Josh,

So you let Mike catch the big ones? That is one of the biggest cats caught on the north end this summer. Looking at this years league results it should be an interesting weekend. Good luck!

I agree, mostly 14 pounders this year, IMO due to fluctuating water levels and a couple other variables. Mike is so, how do I say, strategical when it comes to bait placement, etc, and he usually does the wierdest stuff. But yes, he is the one who always catches the fish, and you know what? I'm ok with that!
